How to Read the Adapters
PART NO.: XXX-XX-XX
Union adaper is composed by three part: adapter type, denoted by XXX; first and second end size, denoted by XX.
Adapter type is composed by one number and two letters. Please see below chart for identification part no.
When an adapter has same end type, e.g, M JIC x M JIC, we only use one letter instead of two. e.g 1J - correct, 1JJ-wrong.
When an adapter's both end have same size, e.g 1/2" M JIC x 1/2" M NPT, we only put one size. e.g 1JN-08 - correct, 1JN-08-08 - wrong.
